I recently redid the convertible top on my 2000 v6. I got a one piece top with an integrated plastic window from convertibletopguys.com I can not imagine having to put on a two piece top. Even with my dad who has done a top before, We couldn't quite get all the wrinkles out. If you do it yourself, make sure you get a kit that comes with an instructional manual, or watch the video for the integrated top from cjponyparts. Its doable yourself, but only if you're very patient and careful. Having a second person helps immensely.

I purchased mine online at convertibletopguys.com. I got the kit that included the one piece top with plastic window and it came with an instruction book, tacking strips, glue, staples, and new pads. Or the one at cjponyparts should work too. My whole kit was about 300 bucks.
