Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I just noticed today. I am not that experienced with throttle bodies in particular so I'm not sure what to call the piece that is broken. I think it may be a rod that senses throttle position or something, but I'm not sure.

It is a small grey plastic rod that sits next to the cable that you can pull to rev the engine from under the hood.

Symptoms: 1) Perhaps a small loss in power?
2) Different and louder exhaust tone in the cabin.

From your picture that looks to be the cable for the cruise control.

Really? Hmph, well it's snapped clean in two. Curious as to why it's causing odd sounds, or if it's even the cause. It was raining today when I looked at it, so I couldn't investigate further. Will try tomorrow.
