Do I need to modify hangers at all? I saw someone say that I needed shims to make it fit under the bumper

You will either need longer hangers or to lower the hanger mount off the bumper so the tips sit under your cover and not hit it.

OK before I make my final decision on what to get my uncle suggested going with a X-pipe over a H-pipe. He's got a 99 35th anniversary with an X and borlas. He said he likes the sound of the X better than the H. Anyone got advice on which one?

Listen to a bunch of YouTube clips and see which one you like best, I liked my H pipe

Well I ordered me a set of MAC long tubes with a X-pipe and dual borla by the time I was done. Went a little over budget but I think I'll like the result

Yeah once everything gets here thats what I'm dreading. I've never installed or taken the exhaust off of one. Most I've done with the exhaust is unbolt a set to get a transmission out. Haven't ever done the headers all the way back.

You will have to remove the oil dipstick, airbox, and throttle body.
