Default No crank, no start

Okay, so here's the story.

Yesterday I decided to take advantage of the unheard of nice weather on Christmas day and replace the spark plugs and wires on my Mustang while my brother was over to give me a second set of hands. We replaced all the plugs with E3 Diamondfire plugs and a new set of NGK wires. Here's where the problem started.

While I was working on the passenger side bank I told my brother to start on the driver side bank, and when he did so he removed all the plug wires at the same time. So now I had no idea which plug went where. Looked up multiple diagrams on cylinder numbering, get all the wires plugged back in, fires up and runs like crap.

So I finally came here, found what I assume is the right information and got the plugs wired up correctly. Turn the key...and nothing.

I have tested the battery, it has 12.54 volts.

I have heard the starter relay click when the key turns.

Everything on the dash lights up, the radio works, you can hear the fuel pump priming. I just get no crack. It doesn't whir, click, grind. Nothing.

Any ideas?

And yes, I know that it should have been done one plug and wire at a time.

Check your fuses, you may have popped a fuse.

I started doing that today but ran out of time before more family arrived. I will finish tomorrow weather permitting.

Fuses are all good, bought a new starter to see if that solves it.

Did you bench test your old starter before buying a new one?

No, I didn't, I was near the parts store and picked up the starter to save myself a potential trip in later, but I will test it before I put the new one in.
