Default Exhaust suggestions

hey guys so i want to make my exhaust sound better my only options is to
(A) either straight pipe it no cat no muffler
(B) remove the cats and install an aftermarket muffler
(C) keep cats and change muffler or
(D) dump exhaust at the end of the y pipe
(E) dump exhaust after the cats

what do you guys think will sound the best the muffler i have is some random chambered muffler thats all i know about it oh and i live in BC Canada so emissions isnt a problem

Leave the cats or go high flow cats and do a true dual setup with a decent muffler.

Well none of your options will make it sound good so either leave it as is or go duals.

Grab a set of tailpipes off a GT and fab up a hpipe. It should cost about the same as the options you listed. Plus won't ruin any resale value the car may have later.

Remove the catback and put side exhaust OEM y-pipe, i like that sound more.

If want the one which everyone says sounds powerful.

Remove full OEM exhaust minus Headers and have a shop weld up Dual 2.5" piping into 2 "thrush welded" mufflers(2.5" in/out) that dumps before the Rearend. Make sure they weld on a flange to bolt onto the Headers.

I think thats what the mufflers that originally came on my stang were. If they are, You will not regret it... Unless i got it wrong and they weren't Thrush welded... Then you would regret :P
