overheating
My 2000 v6 mustang is overheating. I can not get the fan to come on. I have checked the fan it is good have checked the plug it is good. I have replaced the ccrm with the relays in it did not help. I have checked the 30 amp circuit breaker and it is good. I tried just turning on the a/c and the fan still would not come on I am running out of ideas. Also now it seems maybe my thermostat is not opening but not positive on that.

The thermostat is probably not working by now, overheating tends to ruin them, they sometimes only open at the highest temperature that they have been up to.
Did you put a voltmeter on the fan connections at the fan?

OK, if you turn on your A/C and the compressor comes on but your fan doesn't, then it has nothing to do with a thermostat - you got a fan or fan circuit problem.
Check:
- 30 Amp fan fuse
- Check power coming into the CCRM on yel/blk wire (from 30A fuse)
- Check for power at org/lt blu wire coming out of CCRM & at fan connector (should be hot when fan commanded on)
- Check blk ground wire at fan connection (it terminates at rt front of engine compartment G107)
You can check the fan by applying a 12v fused jumper wire directly to the org/lt blu wire at fan connector to see if fan runs (they do die after a number of years). You can also run a temp ground wire to the fan connector as well to check ground if the wires are buried.
If you need further help I can try to dig up a wiring diagram.
Good Luck
