Need help identifying a problem

I have a '04 3.8L V6 Mustang, and as I was getting into my car and turned the ignition the car would start then shut back off. This happened twice to me today and now I am unable to start it again. I was thinking that my engine isnt receiving fuel or it could be an electrical problem, Im not to sure because Im still new to making repairs on my car. Let me know what you guys think?
