Default 1999 V6 Will Not Start

Hi everyone, I've got a '99 Mustang with a V6 and this morning it will not start. Plenty of battery juice, it just turns over without a hint of starting. Don't know if it's fuel related or ignition. It did this about 2 weeks ago but then I came back about 5 minutes later and it started right up like there was nothing ever wrong with it.

Any suggestions on what to look for, test, anything other than taking it to a shop?

I need to get this car running since it's my wife's car and if I can't get it running, she'll want to take my 2001 GT that I keep garaged all the time with only 6K miles on it! HELP!!!!

Well, it finally started without doing anything. Maybe have it checked on a computer to see if there are any errors.

Fuel or fire.

Fuel - fuel pump, filter, hoses, fuel rail pressure
Fire - spark, fuses, plugs, battery, alternator, wiring short or battery connection or ground

Fuel, the engine just started like there was no problem. I'm thinking it's a fuel pump maybe going.

I did check the fuel rail valve and when I pushed the pin in no gas was present. I did the same thing afterwards when the engine started and there was fuel there so something is not getting fuel there when it happens.

BTW, how do you edit a post or can you? I don't see anywhere to do so.

Might be worth replacing the fuel pump relay.

It may be the problem and that would be an easy fix.....Do you know where it is?
