their v6 X pipes are made to fit with most GT cat back systems
for mufflers i suggest scrapping the GT mufflers and going with Force mufflers from Summit part# FRC-5201 will fit the GT takeoff exhaust perfectly
the Force mufflers are built the same and sound the same as Flowmaster 40's but cost only $29.88/muffler instead of the $70-$80/muffler for a Flowmaster 40

Just get a true dual midpipe fabricated behind the stock cats and use the GT takeoff catback, with either the stock GT mufflers or aftermarket mufflers that cobra232 suggested. It'll sound fine.

don't waste your money on a crossover midpipe... get straight pipes.

I have heard O/R X's on a six and they sound fine you just need to get Lt's and the right exhaust. But I don't think it sounds very good with gt takeoffs though.
I would go with BBK Lt's, Pypes O/R X, and Bassani or some dumped SLP's.
But to be honest an H will give a bit of a deeper sound to it over the X. It's all preferance though.
