Default Bondo

Both of the rear quarter panels have bondo on them do to a wreck. We didn't replace them so bondo was the cheapest way.. How long will it last. I had drivin the car for about 9 months when the bondo started to crack by the door... the guy who did it said he would fix it for free... the other side is fine.. but how long does it normally last?

it's not supposed to be over 1/8" thick, any thicker and it'll crack easily, if not fall off. It'll most likely crack again, replacement rear 1/4's are only around $500.

how are rear quarter panels attached to the car? I need to replace mine do to a hit and run and ive found several parts cars but i dont know how the rear quarter panels are attached.

I think you have to cut out the spot you want to replace and weld another in is place... but dont take my word for it...
