ive never been showered by cd's and mine isnt too bulky. not sure mine was free from college so its a cheap made one but is probably less bulky than the ones in the store. i also have my cd's facing the headliner so you cant see them if the visor is up

I wont lie, I have be thinking about adding more power.
It already has a lot of torque steer though! lol
I would have to do one of two things to do that because the pulleys are ultra close to the block as a close profile due to the lack of space (No lack above it, near truck hood clearances.) As far as tuning goes, I dont really know how to go about that... Anyways.
1.) Change snout to a M122 snout.
2.) CNC a sit in lower pulley and figure out how to mount and use the pulley bridge from an 03/04 Cobra.
I may not have the room to route intake tubing though.
There is enough hood clearance to possibly use a lightning M112 though.
The other option is to skip all that and put a M122 on.
Snout is short enough, still bolts to adapter and the inlet is on the correct side.
Of course I would need a Cobra Jet throttle body for it which is about $600 X_X
Honestly I think the hardest part of this would be tuning, finding a place that can do it.
The exhaust manifolds are really pathetic too so some custom headers would be in order.
but this is all just for fun, unless a lot of money lands in my lap its not going to happen. :P
Having them facing the headliner helps, our old holder was from Wal-Mart years ago.

Not to mention if money DID land in my lap, I wouldnt go much above 300fwhp or so.
I wouldnt want to do more than just bolt ons to something like this.
I was also thinking about a STS style remote single turbo to try to keep fuel economy up but still have the power.
but again, its all just fun to think about, not really going to do anything.

I posted it in the time slip thread but here it is...
Auto
MAC Long tubes, MAC shorty h-pipe (catless), and MAC cat back
ASP 25% underdrive pulley
MAC CAI
93 octane tune from VMP
8.8" rear end w/ 3.55 gear ratio
Many suspension mods (not drag specific though, just thought I would add)
if you are looking for more specifics on the suspension, its in my profile. My old best time slip is in there too so you can compare the two with different mods. I would be curious what yours would do being that yours is cammed and has a stall converter

I'll let ya know in a couple weeks, gotta put new upper control arms on it now been TRYING to get the RX-7 to the track on test and tune night since I've upped the boost, but it's been either raining or "too hot" and the track is closed :/

replacement bushing... somehow I managed to bust a lakewood polyurethane bushing.
On another note I've been thinking realllllllyy hard about selling off some of the toys and trying to get a '13 GT... I'm tired of having to work on all my crap just to keep it running all the time
It dumb... hit something in the road and busted the oil cooler in the Jag, lost oil on me and it's knocking now... RX7 needs a new fuel pump, and the mustang is just old and falling apart on me lol
