The IC mounting lip gets in the way of the upper. You need a flat surface on the bottom of the blower to mount to the intake.

yeah chad yours is still on there. i didnt have to shave mine off because my plate was made different

I didn't know you were only 18, that's a crazy car for 18. I'm 17 and mine is no where near your...i wish it was. I have 4 grand saved up but i need to keep that for college i wish i could put it into my car.

How did you chance the airflow with the hood and splitter just curious? I want to save up one day and get a red 99-03 V6, and put the roush body kit on it with the cobra hood. Can't decide on a convertible or not. But I want to make it a 4.2 then procharger or supercharge it. Obviously suspension and everything to go along with it. It's just waiting and saving for now...

how did you change the air path with the splitter and hood? I thought that would be tough with them in one fixed position.
