It's been a long time since I posted around here (well, a month or so anyway). So, I figured I'd come by and say something. Anyway, I've been trying to work on my car recently, and though I haven't made too much progress, at least I've gotten a sufficient start. I just ordered my FRPP T-Lok LSD and a nice new set of 3.73's. I was strongly considering getting the 4.10's, but since I'm plenty happy with my stock setup anyway, I decided they would be a bit overkill.
Now, I know some of you are thinking I wasted my money on an FRPP T-Lok, and yes, there is the possibility I'll break it, but for the price, it was worth the risk. Besides, I can probably get someone I know to rebuild it for me anyway (or they'll get a new one to "fall off of a truck"). Anyway...soon enough I will get my new hood, a Cobra R style, as the kid who keyed my current one will have it paid off by January.
Then, the only things left of importance are the MGW short throw and the cam. Looks like things are slowly falling together. Someday I hope to get a set of chrome-lipped black FR500's too, but that isn't all too necessary. September 20 marks the Waggoner Car show (which I will be attending). I plan to put my car in as a Project class entry, so we'll see how that goes. If I get a little bit of time this week, I'm going to install my Rear Window scoops that have been sitting here gathering dust for about a month...
So, to wrap it all up, if anyone has any comments or opinions about what I've done, what I'm doing, or any car show tips, feel free to tell me (even if the criticism isn't all that constructive).
