Default just took a trip, how was the highest mpg you guys ever got?

hey guys! just got back from a trip to Ocean City MD. on the way down i got a 27.25ish mpg. im just wondering whats the highest mpg you guys have ever gotten in your sixers....

34 mpg is my highest. But I had a weight advantage over most Mustangs.

Weight reduction and aerodynamics go a VERY long way. You say nice, but I bet your road trip was nice with things like sound deadening material, cruise control, A/C, radio, seating for four (well, sort of) ....
My road trips in the Snow Ball don't offer those comforts. Though it still has the interior... for now.

25mpg, fully loaded, with everything I needed to go offshore for a month.

yea i get ya. i still think it would be sweet to say to someone that has a focus or something small that my car gets just the same mileage as yours and mine will smoke yours lol. it was nice running the A/C for pretty much the whole trip though, dont know if i could do without.

Ive gotten as high as 31 on a 5 hr trip doing an average of 80-85 mph. Usually its around 26-28.
