Default Getting sick of my car!

Well I posted last week that my tailpipe burned a medium-sized hole in the bottom of my bumper... I was going over a speed bump today and heard something on the bottom of my car clank against something... idk if it was the tailpipe scraping the bumper or not, but it didn't sound pleasant... while my car has never left me stranded nor died on me, its got 122,xxx miles and I really don't wanna continue to put money in it if it's not gonna give me anything back... I wish I could afford another used Mustang, but a GT... the thing is, I'm not gonna get much for mine... maybe $4500 at most...

Sounds like some tough luck to me, it will pass. In the mean time, baby her a little bit if you aren't already, I'm sure it's not as bad as you think it is. Did you hit the speed bump a little too hard?

Nope... I usually take the speed bumps easy because the roads and everything else here are crap... I went over <5 mph... and every time I do so, it makes that noise... it's gettin annoying... BTW, I noticed my car had less throttle response than usual today... I think I got a tune-up almost 2 years ago... do you think it's time for another?

What do you mean by tune up? Do you change your air filter every so often, coolant flush and fill, whens the last time you did the spark plugs and wires?

Well I have a K & N intake but I just cleaned that and my MAF like last month... I believe I got it flushed and spark plugs maybe a year to a year and a half ago...

Have you had the car on a lift and looked at it to see if anything has scrape marks? I would think something is scraping if it only happens while going over speed bumps.
