how much power can i squeze out of a 3.8?

I'd say around 850-900hp, depending on your budget. My budget only allows for around 750hp, so I'll settle for that when the time is right.

It all depends on what you do. If you just build the engine but nothing else you could prob do it for 4-5K. But the stock diff and tranny prob wont last long with that much power.

Depends on how you describe building the engine. Some describe it has taking it apart, cleaning, put back together then add what mods they want from there. Others describe it as putting forged internals and all that in the engine. If you do that route then you prob wont be able to afford a F/I system for 4-5K.

depends. if you are stock, you will need to upgrade your exhaust. the rear will take it, but youll never hook up, so youll need a posi and gears. also, if you are manual, youll want a shifter and clutch.

otherwise, you could do 350rwhp with a cam, and a SC. or turbo. or 200shot.
