ashtray/cupholder

I have a 96 Mustang with the ashtray in center console - i would like to take it out and put in a cupholder - would the stock cupholder from the 99 up fit - or does the 98 have the cupholder - where can i get one -

Just swap out the center console from a 01-04. The 99-00 have the double cup holder but only 1 actually holds a cup.

I dont even use my cup holders to hold cups.. it makes a great change holder tho.

But seriously, Do I have the only car that has 2 functional cupholders?
