Lower Grille Headlights

I have always wanted to put something in my lower grille because it seems like a waste of holes in a grille. I wanted to put lights in them to accent the V6 fog lights that I have. I found this picture on another site. Tell me what you think of the look. Also, if anyone has done this, how do you secure them into place and have them come on with the fog lights that are already installed? I asked the guy that I got the picture from, but his explanation didn't seem to fit my mustang even though we had the same model. (I had this under a different forum with no response. So I am trying here)
