Default Too cheap to buy a Tuner

So, I'm really starting to be annoyed by my speedometer being off. I need a tune badly, but sadly, I poured all of my money into the mods without the notion that I may need more than just the parts. Ford wants way too much to do a tune at the dealership, and I know there will only be more to come, leaving me to pay for tune after tune. Sadly, I cannot find a used tuner anywhere (and when I catch one in the For Sale section, it's gone before I even have a shot). I also can't afford a new one either...

Anyone know of other options? I'd have to think some company out there would make some good money from renting them out; too bad I can't find a place like that.

Cant you buy a speedo correction gear for like $20 bucks? Something like this except for our car http://www.steeda.com/products/speed...tion_gears.php or something like this http://www.americanmuscle.com/speed-...tor-94-04.html
Maybe something like this will work http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/LRS-17285A . I don't know if our V6's have T-5's but maybe theres a way to make it work....

Hmm, I'm tempted...though I'd still not have the total adjustability that a tuner brings. That's what I'm really looking for. There's chips too, but due to paying for a new tune for it whenever I mod the car, I'd have no way be able to afford that option either.

I dont think our cars have speedo gears. I believe we have speed sensors, which means electronic not manual. The 94-98 V6`s have speedo gears tho.

The only problem with chips like the 4 Bank Eliminator from SCT is when you need a new tune you have to sent the chip away for them to put a new tune on it.

CRAGISLIST, EBAY, and american muscle. those are all good places to get a tuner. you said there is more to come and you dont want to have to pay for tune after tune. well most companys that sell tuners TUNE FREE FOR LIFE. so you can keep getting mods and not have to worry about paying for new tuner.

american muscle and most other sites are 379$ with free tunes for life. thats not bad at all. and by the looks of your mods u need a tune. with gears, exhaust, and intake. a tune will fix your air fuel ratio and your speedo problem. save your car. save up and buy one.

I don't think is a/f ratio would be that far off with a cai and exhaust. But The do have free tunes for life but I don't think they are as precise or as well designed as Justins, even though his cost money.
