Default Hi I am new and need ideas......

I am buying a 99 Mustang V6 35th anniver addition with 91k on it for a good price. It has no mods and is in good shape. No cruise control though?

It looks much like this.

http://www.ssip.net/upload/ford-must...ide-3-_217.jpg

I would like to modify somewhat. New wheels and tires and headlights.

I am up for suggestions on the above modifications. I will also tint the windows.

Thanks and glad to be here.

for tires. your stock is 16 so id say go 17 butt you can go 18 i think. i say 17 because the bigger the tire the less mpg.

Hey welcome! I agree with FR500, iv never liked bullitt wheels but thats just my preference. as for size, 17 or 18 for sure.

If your getting new headlights, i would strongly suggest getting clear corner headlights. You still use the orange bulb so its not illegal, and makes the car look much cleaner.

If your getting it tinted, i would say go with 20%, but check the state law on legal percent. In MD its 35%, but iv stuck with 20.

Got the Mustang and did a road test with my wife driving it to work one day and me the next and we are getting 25mpg and I am happy with that. I also bought a bra for the front and next will get the windows tinted then look for some wheels. It has a few scuffs here and there and 91,000 miles but for $2500 I am pleased and maybe next year when my daughter turns 16 she will have a nice lil ride but in the mean time the wife will be driving it and me here and there. Much more economical than my F-250 Super Duty King cab 4x4 and Explorer XLT 4x4. I will try and get you all a pic.

I didn't buy a Stang for its reliability. I bought it for the wood I get when I drive it.
