The rubbing up front isn't surprising with the 255's. You will be able to turn them over a little easier probably but still you don't have as much torque as the 4.6's and 5.0's to turn over a fat tire whenever you feel like it. Thats why I said don't go with a 315. You might as well stick with a set of 245's all the way around and you shouldn't have much of a problem.

this isnt a foxbody.

255's shouldnt rub up front on a 99+. I run them with no rubbing whatsoever. most people run a 275/40, which came stock on 03/04 cobras.

on a 9" wheel, a 245 would be way troo stretched. i wouldnt go any less then a 255. as for the rear, a 275 on a 10+" wheel will look worse. 315 is the recommended tire size for a 10.5" wheel.

I have 315 sumi's, and they will still spin. on a stock V6. this guy would be able to spin them, if he gets some mods under his belt. although he will only be spinning one until he upgrades the rear.

you should. get 4.10's and a track lok for better spinning.

as long as you correct the sidewall size, your speedo wioll be fine

I don't mean to sound dumb NY, but what do you mean sidewall size? Offset? I don't try to act like I know something I dont haha. I love mustangs, have since i was little, and i love my car, therefore I want it done right..not wrong because of a prideful ego

Wheel rub on the front has variables.
Tire width.
Tire profile.
Rim offset.
Amount of drop.

All four need to be working with each other to make sure you don't rub.
