Default going to pick up another v-6 Saturday

I've already posted this else where if you've already seen it I'm sorry

but saturday im going to pick up a '85 capri its a v-6 automatic with 130k on it im getting it for 300$

plans are pull everyting out make it light as possible put a mildly built 306 with a t-5 we have set back about 2 inches and a irs tubular k-member coilovers full bracing including at least a 4point cage alum dash and either termi seats or corbeu's yada yada eventually we will build either a 331 or 347 n/a to go in it something that winds way up fast with AT LEAST 350 at the wheels more like 400 anyway this will be a long term project with the first phase HOPEFULLY being done about april to at least get it on VIR in may but thats a tall task so we will see

so by may we will hope to have the motor trans interior and SOME suspension on the car

Its a fox with merc badges no major differences except body panels wich the quarters have a wider flare and the hood and hatch are different

swap the capri hatch for a mustang hatch, nice paint job, capri = sexy. and of course a nice mildy built 5.0 build rear end and get DRs, will definitely push that light ass car pretty quick. the goal of around 350 whp sounds like a pretty badass build for sure.

its going white and leaving the hatch alone for now and its not going ina straight line its getting full suspension with irs its a open track car

and matt i think every fox owner wants capri fenders
