I think I'm going to go truetrac in the 7.5. It should be stronger than the stock 8.8 tlock down the road no? Probably going to suck it up with the 4.10's.

FWIW (for what it's worth), i drove some kids 01GT auto with 3.73's and a couple other mods and it was SLOW.. Now he has 4.10's. MUCH BETTER..

autos need the 4.10's

He LOVES them and is glad he switched...

So take it or leave it, just throwing my info out there for ya

Pretty sure its the same tranny no? Just as a t45 is a t45 and a t3650 is a t3650, not matter what year it is in - 96-10+...

If you are an auto and you get gears, you must bump up your shift firmness. Chirp those tires, or tire if you dont have a DTT or posi.

Haha, tire as of now. And I think its a 4R70W in an auto no? I have bumped up my shift firmness with my tuner.

I've never heard that either. I think I'll sack up and go with the 4.10's. Everyone that is auto and has gone 3.73 that I talked to said they wish the went 4.10 or switched to them.

Correct, its 4r70w, basically the same as the older AODE but I guess newer with a little different gears?

And shaun, I've got the same tires you do, just chrome, and I still get 26mpg highway, I'm sure if the tune where good and I went a little slower, it would be better (ran 80 for about 3 hours one day)

So it shouldn't be hard to keep the mileage up with an economy tune and some small stuff like udps

HP, got any better pics of your wing?

And yeah, that should help balance it, not sure how much a driveshaft would help, but it can't hurt anything right?
