Haha nah, she's totally cool with the autocross. Hill climbs on the other hand...likes to pretend that I don't participate in those events.

In all honesty, you should've been red flagged and DQ'ed for your passenger having their hand outside of the car on your run. That's just a standard safety concern... just make sure your passengers know that before you make a run.

True, I didnt even notice that though and he probably didnt while he was driving.
I am sure he will inform the next passenger though.

This has been brought up multiple times with my local SCCA Region, and every time it gets brought up, the subject gets dismissed just as quickly. As far as I know, there is no rule against having a hand outside the window during autocross runs. I could be wrong. Never been DQ'd or flagged for it, never seen a rule written against it, but people constantly bring it up. Thanks for the heads up, though.
