this is a kick a$$ job you done, screw the 98 cobra V6 to V8 swap, i was bouncing back and forth between these two, but now i have made up my mind. so my questionis, you just switch the top have of the 4.2 and put it on your 3.8? also i saw that you changed you fuel sending unit, did you need to do that for the m112?

umm i have a stock 3.8, all i removed was the upper intake and fuel injectors. and I had to put a new fuel pump in because the stock pump wouldnt supply the engine with enough fuel.

alright, i thouht you switched heads sorry, were the fuel pumps the same for 99' and 00'? just wondering if my sending unit will be fine, if not what sould i get? also im trying to get my hands on the m112 and the rest of the parts, what are your thoughts on getting them. i know mysteed has the complete kit, also you dont have a UDP do you? if not do we need it?

fuel pumps will be the same. as for getting parts, i just searched the classifieds of many forums until i found all the pieces needed. and I do not have a UDP, you will need one if you want to run low boost and keep to stock engine for a while.

yea that sounds decent, what do you recomend for a fuel pump and UDP? also do you know if nathan is still doing his kits? other than that any progress on your car?

svt focus pump and i dunno about UDPs, since Im not running one.

no progress on the car, as much as I love the car, Im just not financially stable enough to do more than look at it. Hell if it sat for the next 10 years, it wouldnt bother me one bit.
