Default Vibration around 1500-2000 RPM when clutch pedal up

Hey there, my 2001 V6 3.8 with a T5 manual is having an issue where I feel a decently strong vibration in the shifter and steering wheel when the clutch pedal is not pressed and the engine is between 1500 and 2000 RPM.
if the clutch is pressed in, you feel no vibration, whether car is moving or not. For example, you take off in first gear, between 1500 and 2000 the vibration is there. Or if you are stationary in neutral with clutch not pressed, you rev up and between 1500 and 2000 the vibration is there same as when you're moving. If you press clutch in, it goes away at least 90%
curious if anyone has an idea what this might be?
