Why can't you find correct M112 info? All of them who did it right run just fine... for years. :P

Lots of new info, just havent frequented MF as much since I signed up on MM.
fixed a whole bunch of vac leaks this year, got it running normal again. It was idling at 1500rpm. changed crank, cam, IAC, tps sensors. gotta drop the trans pan and change the shift solenoid sometime soon. fuel gauge is still giving me issues, so Im cutting a access hole above the tank so I wont have to drop it.
Did a couple datalogs and sent them to my tuner, he removed some fuel and its running almost stoich free revving up to 3000 rpm in park. Should be street tuning next week.
Ill upload pics of my latest accomplishments after work.

Getting everyone up to date on this build.
Power steering deleted
What I removed, minus the pump and pulley.
Picked up a VVME 8000k 35w HID kit from a wrecked truck at work, bought new bulbs and installed it. No pics at night cause I havent drove it more than 3 blocks this year.
I then moved out of my rental house cause my room mate went to welding school. So stationed back at the parents house till September... time to start seriously modding.
Pulled the M112 and adapter off because of a vac leak I couldnt track down.
Found one of the vac leaks.. pretty significant. I had the metal M112 gasket from ford and a bead of RTV on the gasket. It was leaking under the metal gasket.
I also found another leak on the egr block off plate. so I removed, cleaned it up and reinstall with a new gasket.
I put the M112 back on, this time I used a bead of rtv ultra grey, a cork/rubber gasket that I hand made, and another bead of rtv ultra grey on top of the cork/rubber. got it all back together and it fired up and idled at 950 rpm. much better than the 1500+ i was getting before.
Then I dropped the savings on this!
03 IRS, brembo slotted rotors, LPW Ultra IRS cover, bilsteins, cut springs, t lok and 3.55s
All torn apart
One half shaft has a damaged CV shaft
Even the catback was included in the price. unfortunately the one tail pipe has been made by a shop. so its crush bent instead of mandrel.
Today I tackled the shift solenoid job ive been dreading. and actually it wasnt bad. took me a total of 2 hrs but i was taking my time.
I also took the radio and speakers out of the car and mocked up my new gauge location.
and yes, that is how I drive the car. bare bones!

Yes, I understand most people like to have a full interior. But for me, this is the toy. Ive only put 37.5K miles on it in the 5.5 years ive owned it.
I plan to drive it alot more this summer. as long as the stock motor will handle.
My whole weight reduction deal is simple, the best power to weigh ratio possible. I know there is other factors such as weigh placement, but ill get into that when i actually start to road race/auto x the car. I even though of drifting, but I have another project in mind for that.

Fink- Do you still have the EGR?
Looking at mine today so I can start making bracketry, and realized the EGR mount for the octopus(where all the **** accumulates on the upper intake) wont have a mounting point.
on a related note, think you could post a pic of how you mounted your coil and such?

i dont have the egr. deleted it long before the m112, no emissions here.
i can get some pics of the coil mount tomorrow. i really need to relocate it, im worried about heat issues with it being right beside the m112.

sorry, havent been on here in forever. im not sure what my injector duty cycle is.
Well some bad and good news, fried some rings on the weekend. TON of smoke/vapor out the oil fill cap and VC breathers. The stock 3.8 has 244,3xx kms on it, 7,000 of those have been HARD miles. it served its purpose, but time to go bigger and better.
Good news, going to be building a forged 4.2, studded, girdle, etc. over the winter. porting heads/lower, m112. Hoping Ortiz will have the dual pass figured out by install time. going return style fuel system.
i already have a complete 4.2 and gasket kit, so im part way to my goal.
ill try keep this updated as much as possible.
