Again, that's my plan for the most part BUT I have heard that the snouts of the crank break decently easy

I've never seen an issue with them breaking. Interesting.

Odd question here, but you have a 5.0, why spend all this money to build up a sixer when the 5.0 is such an easier and cheaper block to work on? Not hating by any means, just curious.

Over the last few years I have been putting money into my cars and I always tell the wife I will get to her car. I had a 04 F150 at one point with a 4.2. I loved the extra torque compared to the 98. I have MANY projects planned and a lot of them do have a 5.0/5.8 as the power but I also plan on doing the v6, a turbo 4, and this winter I am going to start the cleanup/ restoration of my 83 and its going to start out with a SOHC 4.6 with an auto but eventually have a 32 valve under the hood....

Between my brother and I we have many projects already and many ideas....anywhere from old BBF's to new mod motors.... I am going to start building chassis stiffening products, suspension parts, and performance autos here soon so it gives me another power plant to build parts around.

But again as for building the v6...even though the power levels will be the same, the wife isn't getting a v8, the nose will be lighter for better handling without having to deal with the low power/torque of a 4 banger before boost, and its less things to have to change in the car...just gotta beef them up a little..
