2004 Mustang V6 air/fuel gauge

i have a 2004 3.7L V6 and i connected my Air/Fuel gauge but all its doing it lighting up green, the light never move. Why is this? And how do i fix it?

first of all..

What gauge is it? autometer, Innovate, generic brand from autozone?

is it a wideband or narrowband?
