Default Love that my car feels slow even though it's fast

Strange title I know. I was late to the doc's this morning so im really moving down the highway. I see another Mustang and I just have to pass it. As I'm flying by that car a white 4 door sedan...think an Audi....passes me like Im sitting still. I look down at my speedo and grin. I looked over at my wife and asked her how fast she thought we were going....she said pretty slow...maybe 55....I say nope 105mph. I swear there was not a vibration or a wobble or a shimmy...pure smooth and quiet. The sedan must a been doing 130. I was kinda sad as i still had 20mph left on my speedo I am careful but when I looked down and saw 105mph I got off the pedal. Figured I'd rather get there than not at all But that sedan was a surprise..just zoomed right by...crazy *** drivers!!

My cars all feel slow... but that's because I always go overboard on tire & suspension upgrades. It's nice when the car is always planted.

people who drive mine says it picks up pretty good for a v6 but i really really really want a GT. problem is in my area we get 6 months of winter so people dont drive mustangs all year so the milage on them stay low = the $10k for 95 mustang gt = ridiculous compared to texas where i got a 3 year old mustang v6 with 30k milage for 8 grand.

I know blasphemy to talk about imports on a mustang forum but I have an Rx7 with a ton of time onto the suspension that rides like a slot car, smooth, have to work hard to loose grip and feels the same from 25 till the speedo tops out...

I'll drive out-of-state to buy a stang if the saves me that much money (can tell the wife something like, honey i lets go on a vacation. I wanna drive and sight-see this great land of the USA, or some bs like that and pick up a stang.)
