Would you buy a 185-190k miles Ford Mustang?
I recently came across two 2000 Ford mustang for sale. One is a manual and the other is an automatic. They're both V6.
The manual has 185k miles. The auto has 190k miles. Let's say both are mechanically sound. The price for both is $2500.
Are they worth considering? They are both approaching 200k miles. Which one would be a better option considering their high mileage.
Thanks!!
PS Okay I posted this in the wrong forum earlier.

If they arent very well taken care off I would pass.
I paid $2200 for my 01' V6 auto coupe in awesome condition with 114k miles earlier this year so if these dont strike a cord with you just wait for another to come along.
btw, mine was listed for $4000, I haggled the price down based on a dent on the front fender and needing a new coil pack.
You might be able to get the price down on those cars if you play your cards right.

+1 to if its taken care of.
Thats pretty high mileage, though if they provide proof that it's been well taken care of and you check everything yourself.. then go for it. But if you're just going off his word, then idk if i would.
paid 3k for mine at 138k, perfect body.

deff make sure its well taken care of.... bought mine with 122k miles on it and I had to rebuild the back brakes(rotors, pads, and calipers) gotta have a ton of body work done(back quarter window, new trunk lid, sanded primed and painted, new tires), rebuild the ignition system, rewire everything for the stereo, fix the A/C system, and about 3 days after I bought it the odometer stopped working so I gotta fix that.

Try to ask for receipts of work done to it, if there was been anything done to it. Carfax it obviously too. Though if the body isn't absolutely perfect (including the interior) 2500 may be a little high IMO, idk im just going of my deal, theres always better ones out there.
