RE: getting thrown to the wolves
well think about it, it blows air into ur intake, there MUST be sum increase in hp, how much? not enuff, the other crap thing is about them is u have to MANUALY switch it on JUST before u go WOT! otherwise its a great thing to waste 180 bucks on... also the 20% hp gain is ONLY if u use 3 at a time!

RE: getting thrown to the wolves
my question has always been "why doesn,t ford (or any other oem) just install this stuff at the factory???? it would save millions in R&D. hell the turbonater alone would save about a million barrels a day!!!!! if we bought all the things promising to give better milage and more horse power we could sell the gas that would over flow out of our gas tanks back to the arabs

These are supposedly good products, but only if used properly. Electric superchargers were designed for vehicles with high capacity turbo/superchargers. In theory, it increases pressure in the intake so the turbo/supercharger dosen't get starved of air. on a N/A car, this produces nearly zero boost, and therefore dosen't help make power. But even if I DID have a turbo, I still wouldn't buy one. Especially not that one.
