I have no clue but its an interesting question, Im sure there are a couple of people in here who can get creative for you. Also STS turbo is making a twin turbo for the V6 just not sure when they will release it.

To get that kind of streetable horsepower out of your 4.0 it wouldn't be a 4.0 anymore that's for sure! It would have to be bored, stroked, cammed, strengthened, supercharged, nitroused, electric waterpumped, a/c and power steering deleted, etc. After you did all that to the engine, you would have to strengthen the driveline! A supercharged GT with V6 body panels and badges would be much cheaper (and easier)!

500hp is possible on a 4.0 They have already done over 400rwhp which is like 470hp or so at the crank on the stock 4.0. A fully forged 4.0 should be able to do 450-500rwhp if done right. Now a 4.5 stroker might be able to push 550rwhp if fully forged. Ive already begun my 4.0 project.

But the question was 500 streetable horsepower! I think that the cars you mention are full time race cars.

Put a Prius motor in it.

Seriously though.. It would require some serious money to do that. I think it is possible, but would never be streetable. 4.0 v6 motor is really not like a 4.0 v12 or the 4.0 v8 that we see in the european sports cars. If I am not mistaken the degree and the over all design of the cologne motor would not handle the power on the bottom end.

on the subject of cams.... the problem I see is the fact that the camshaft and gear are not "keyed"... the gear is simply bolted on!!! LOL!
