hi,my name is gary and this is my first post here.i have a 2008 v6mustang coupe with the pony package. it ran a dismal 16.353@84.65 last friday night at the grandbend motorplex here in canada.it is bone stock but still i thought it would do better than that.i have since ordered a few goodies for it to see if i can make it respectable. airaid cai,sct 3 tuner, pypes stainless headers and cat back system with violator muffs, motive 3.73 gears and a t-lok.the car has an auto trans.i am considering a 75 shot of nitrous aswell just for kicks.i use to run a 23t ford with an alky injected 452 big block dodge at the drags so i am no stranger to this stuff.to be fair to the car the air sucked that night and i myself weigh about 325lbs.still i was dissapointed, this car cost $36,000.00 out the door in canada.hopefully it will surprise me in a couple of weeks when all is modified.this car is to tie me over until i finish my other project car
a 1969 triumph spitfire with a 347 ford with 430 hp,5 speed trans, corvette suspension and a custom chassis i built myself.i am a welder /fabricator by trade. any ideas or comments please feel free to let me know.thanks alot and hello to everyone.

Rampantracing, welcome. Check out the Midwest section. Several of us get together to hit the track and you will see it posted there. Usually we go to Lapeer here in Michigan, but we've talked about going over the Grand Bend since it is only about 45 minutes from Port Huron/Sarnia.

Well now my best is Just a 15.816 but now i was running 88mph. I dont understang how that it is possible for you guys to be running low 15's at the same Mph. I race at Bristol in Virginia which has a 8% grade on it from what I understand but anyways. My best 15.816

i ran at grand bend last night with the new exhaust and cai. no 3.73's yet and no tune. it ran a best of 15.377@89.15. gears and a tune will put it in the 14's i'm sure. the airwas good too. i've never used nitrous,to those of you who have ,how much will a 75 or 100 shot drop off the et?

I used nitrous for the first time last weekend. My prior best with 3.73, 89 octane tune, C&L, aluminum driveshaft, dual GT500 muffler with X pipe, and HotPart LCA's was 14.6.

With the 75 shot of nitrous (zex kit) I hit a 13.9 on my second pass - and condition weren't good, very slippery and I spun my drag radials even. My car was dyno tuned at Alternative Auto for the 75 shot and I run with a 93 octane tune for the nitrous at the track. On the dyno we put down 251 HP and 330 torque on nitrous.
