convertible curb weight and 1/4 mile times
I bought one of those accelerometer things that measures 1/4 times.
The best I was able to do was 15.02 (off the bottle). I know these things aren't perfect, but I was hoping I'd do better than that.
I had an extra 200-300 lbs in the car with stero equipment, nitrous bottle, and stuff other stuff in my trunk.
I have the C&L intake, dual exhaust (custom bend/glasspacks), and a bamachips tune.
Does this time sound about right considering the extra weight in the car?
Also, when I checked the HP ratings that the accelerometer gizmo had, it says I maxed at 144 HP (which has got to be off), and there is a setting for weight. It was set really low when I made those runs, so I'm sure that had something to do with the bad outcome.
So, does anyone know the curb weight of the V6 convertible?
Now if I could only come up with the time to get the car dyno'd for the nitrous...

I got the Beltronics Vector FX1.
It's not bad, but it's nothing fancy either. It's definitely on the cheaper end of accelerometers.
Thanks for the replies. Hopefully with the new weight settings, it will show a truer HP rating.
