What pully? Crank or alternator? Alternator seems pretty easy, the crank might be a little more involved. People usually do one or the other. Both together did not dyno well. As for beign worth it...Every little bit adds up in the end. IMO I think the alternator pully is worth it because its a lot less expensive then the crank pully and yeilds similar gains.

The alt pulley is very easy, the crank requires a vibration dampner puller/installer. If you use both you will not get enough out of the alternator to charge the battery.

I was using the alternator pulley but i took it off since iam on my third alternator. I will leave it off and see if the pulley is the culprit..last alternator lasted 2 months, one before thant 3 months.

For the crank pulley, You'll have to move the power steering aside, Remove the radiator fans and have a dampener puller on hand........

That sounds pretty in depth? For one BOLT-ON pulley. You never get the whole truth from 5.0 or muscle RAGS. Are the gains worth it???

For 4 to 6 RWHP... I never did find the proper belt... the one they recommended was to long... I tried one a bit shorter... it was to short and the belt tensioner start making noises... I finally just put the stock pulley back on.... LOL!
