Thanks for the tips blackfoot ... however, for my Magnaflow, there aren't any threads on the back pipe connecting to the exhaust piping of the car .. should I just smear it all over the metal where the two parts meet?

theres no clamp to keep that part tight to the rest of the system????

i think you got jipped because i thought it came witha clamp.. and im almost sure ive seen it...

you could go to your local autoparts store and buy a (the right size) U bolt clamp, or band clamp for exhaust systems

U-bolts tend to creat a ridge within the piping and if you wanted to remove it you would need a torche to heat the metal.. a band clamp does the job, but they are known for no sealing the exhaust system.. but if thats not an issue (which i dont think is) you can get your system apart no problem 80% of the time.

i recomend a band clamp

Yeah, the muffler came with a clamp ... and I'm clamping it verrrry tight, but it's still coming loose. I'm thinking about using some Permatex Hi-Temp Metal Repair Compound to seal the two parts together, along with the clamp.
