Default Exhaust confusion

Does anyone have one of these 3 exhaust systems from RPM?

PYP-SFM68 05-07 Pypes True Dual System $329.95
Stainless Steel Street-Pro series mufflers (mild Tone)
Stainless Steel Street-legal X-pipe, Mandrel-bent over-axel pipes
4" Polished stainless steel tips, clamps, hangers and hardware

PYP-SFM68V 05-07 Pypes True Dual System $329.95
Stainless Steel Violator series mufflers (agressive tone)
Stainless Steel Street-legal X-pipe, Mandrel-bent over-axel pipes
4" Polished stainless steel tips, clamps, hangers and hardware

PYP-SMF68VS 05-07 Pypes True Dual System T-304 Polished Stainless Steel $359.95
T-304 Polished Stainless Violator series mufflers (agressive tone)
Stainless Steel Street-legal X-pipe, Mandrel-bent over axel pipes
4" Polished stainless steel tips, clamps, hangers and hardware

I called RPM and they said they did not sell the pipes without the mufflers. I went to the Pypes web-site and they want $349 for just the pipes. That is crazy to charge more for just the X-pipe and over the axel pipes than the same stuff with mufflers. How loud are the "Agressive Tone" mufflers compared to the "Mild Tone" mufflers. How about buying a set of pipes and mufflers from RPM and then selling the mufflers? Does that sound like a plan. I have GT takeoffs that I would rather use. Could a muffler shop make the X-pipe and over the axel pipes for less than $200? Is the Polished Stainless Steel pipes and mufflers for $30 more worth the price? Thanks!

I would think that someone could make a fortune by making and selling X-Pipes and over the axle pipes at a reasonable price for the S197 V6 Mustangs. What do you think?

DO NOT BUY FROM RPM OUTLET. The reason they are so much cheaper than anyone is because they have no customer service and usually advertise stuff they do not have in stock. I'm surprised you actually got to talk to anyone. That would not be the case if you actually had made a purchase. Very few people (including myself) from the forum have had a good experience with them. They SUCK!!!!

Go pricing on other sites for the Pypes part # (like our Sponsors) and you will find the pricing to be more realistic.

Listen to these guys.....don't mess with RPM Outlet. I've tried several times by phone or emailed and never got a response. I went with V6 Mustang Stuffand ordered my Pypes True Deal System w/Street Legal x pipe for $315.99. I bought the GT Takeoff mufflers from a guy on this forum. The shop that will do the install is charging $80.00.

How can RPM stay in business if their customer service is as bad as you say? $319 for the x-pipe and the over the axel pipes sounds high to me. Have any idea of how much a muffler shop would charge to make the x-pipe and over the axel pipes? A friend got his GT takeoffs put on with a Y-pipe for less than $150. It seems to me that you would get no performance gain with a Y-pipe.

$319 for the pipes plus how much for shipping? It sounds high for a couple of pipes. You sure we can't get someone to mass produce the pipes and sell them at a reasonable price?

I got them from blueoval industries. (blueovalindustries.com) on an ebay auction they were having. It was 389+40 dollars shipping. They sound really good, but are loud, and like every exhaust for the mustang pretty much, they drone. I did the install myself if you haveany questions.
