Default To get in the 14's

question...i have an auto 4.0 with an s&b cold air intake and a single gt take off..i ran a 15.3@?? cause the print out said something crazy like 100something...anyways........my question is....with a tune, plus my intake plus my gt take off single axle back, will i brake into the 14s at all????? my goal is to run midish-high 14s..........i mean alot of quick stock cars run the 14.5 area, like the maximas, 350zs, altima SE-R , etc.....so...what does it take to get into the 14s...one more Q...once i get my tune should i get a bigger cold air intake ??? or should i go with the c&L with my tune??? thanks in advance.

Once you get a tune, you'll be in the high 14s, no problem. I think you'd be fine with the intake you have. If you switched,I doubt you'd see a difference on the track.

Go with a C&L or TI CAI. The tune should get you 14's. Many run high to mid 14's on a CAI, take off muffler and tune. What was your front and rear tire pressure on your runs? What rpm did you launch at? Did you empty the trunk?

Well man its doable! It isn't hard but takes some setting up. Mid 14's aren't easy, only a handful of us have hit it. High 14's are a diffferent story. Not hard, get a good tune and some pratice on the track. It might be harder with 18's, do you have gears? That is another directions you might want to go....good luck!

LOL yep its really easy cause sooooo many have the 14.5 1/4 mile. Nick has got a great car and if he ever gets modding he'll be the one to hit 13.9 or better on a good day.
