That happens all the time to me. Mine is a vista blue with white rally stripes, roush spoiler, hood scoop, 275/55-17 rear tires, dual exhaust etc. Last weekend a guy in a 07 GT stopped to talk about the Mustang, He thought it was a shelby==== I had to tell him it was "only" a six. He actually was impressed with the fact that it looked so good. I always tell folks that if I wanted a GT, I'd be driving a GT. My final choices was a 2 year old maroon GT with 30,000 miles & 90 day warranty for 20 grand OR a BRAND NEW Vista blue Pony Package V6 with 25 miles & a 10 year warranty (free from the dealer) for 22k----I chose the V6 for looks & warranty. I will say that the GT was fun to drive but not enough to change my mind.

It's a V6. I can afford a GT, but there is no need for 300 h.p. when you don't race. I bought the car for the color and the styling.

I always get asked if it's the GT not if it has a V8. I mostly get asked by people driving Z28's and Trans Am's. Ricer's just rev. I compliment the Z28's and Trans Am's on their hp when they tell me(350-400hp I've gotten). They're nice though. They say one day u'll have a powerful car, either wait to throw a turbo or charger on their or buytheGT or a fasterone when ur older. Ur young don't worry about it now. So far all the GM driver's I've met have been nice. They didn't even show off their power. Ricer's r another thing though.

Yea, First they ask you what motor it's got. Then they say "Why didn't you get the V8? I usually say "IfI were spending your money, I would have."
