GT Take-off exhaust on a V6
Would a GT Take-off exhaust fit on a V6 coupe? I am talking about from the headers back to the mufflers. That would include the converters, h-pipe and mid-pipes and GT mufflers. Any thoughts? Could the h-pipe be modified to fit after the converters on the V6?

Yes, but the body shop or installer will have to do some custom fabbing. I did pretty much the same thing as u but got headers(not gt)too. The installer will need to switch the cats on ur car now with the ones on that system so u have the V6 cats and not the GT's. Other than that, all u need to do is some welding, clamps, and hangers and ur good. Should sound nice too. Good Luck!

No, it's a good idea. Probably cheaper than any cat-back or self made system. My self made system even though I bought the over axels and h-pipe take off used, ran me $700(notincluding headers)aboutw/o install. This set-up off a GT, the guy will probably charge $300-$400. That's saving a couple hundread dollars after the fabbing. It's a good idea for a cheap dual set-up that sounds nice.

GT Take off is fine and cheaper, but the whole cats/headers thing doesn't need to be done. That was what I was getting at. Just start at the H/X and leave the original cats and headers in.
