Default Longtubes; what do you think about them?

Just like the title says. Do any of you guys have longtubes and what do you think about them? If going with an x-chager do you think they will help more than shorties to make them worth it?

I plan on starting with the basics and eventually getting the x-charger, maybe when an intercooler comes out for it. So I don't want to get shorties only to replace them with longtubes. Let's hear your thoughts.

I have long tubes and they are great. Very easy to install if you buy the LT's and down pipes. You need to get down pipes with cats or a tune that shuts the rear o2's off, which is whatI have

Longtubes will probably do very well with F/I. Most people havent put them on, because until a few weeks ago, MAC was the only choice, and apparently they sounded very very very very bad (at least with F/I). Now that Stainless Works is making headers, I bet that more people will be getting them.

Kooks is also making LongTubes for the 4.0 now also. A set of those in combination with one of their catted H-Pipes will sound amazing. Can't wait to get a listen and a look at those..

I saw that Mac was making them and I wasn't to sure about them. That's good news that other company's are producing them now!
