Default 4 inch exhaust tips?

I was just wondering if 4 inch exhaust tips fit our Stangs nicely? Are the size of the GT exhaust cutouts and the V6 cutout the same, or are there any issues of scorching the paint or anything around the cutout with a 4 inch tip?

I noticed on the Ford Racing duals kit there are two pieces of "rear fascia trim" (see below) but I was wondering if these are just an ugly appearance mod or if they have some function related to the bigger (4") exhaust tip.

Hey, I still have my hawaii plates on my mustang. except it's in texas now. I was stationed at Pearl Harbor there. Windveil Blue with white stripes, left the island last febuary. Sure do miss it. Pics are going to come soon though for my car. Just got my 18" shelby razors put on, my rear and uarter louvers come this week, along with my shaker hood and spray nozzle removal kit. Dual exhaust and new *painted* stripes are next!

I have 4" tips, with the standard v6 rear bumper. It fit nicely on the one side and fit in the cutout on the other. No issues or scorching paint, etc...

My pypes 4-inch tips fit just fine.

Many many members here have the same size tips on their cars. You'll be fine too.

No I havn't seen your car before.
I have the same system on my car, it wasinstalled in Manteca CA,
If you look under your car the chambers should be in the middle of the car.
