Default I wanna put an Eaton M112 on my 4.0...

So i went to the supersix site and saw they have a Eaton M112 adapter manifold. Put in a call tonight to them to see if it fits our 4.0's. Should hear back tomorrow. If so, it is $900. Pick up an eaton blower and injectors for cheap, fab a MAF housing to fit our MAF sensor, then get it all dyno-tuned...how do you guys think that would work out? Only thing is I think I'd need a cowl hood to clear it. Or maybe cut my hood and put a scoop on. Also, eaton 112 air intake is on passenger side, might have to do some fabrication there. Seems like a cheaper route to go and a very interesting project. Really thinking about pursuing it. IF that adapter manifold works for our 4.0. What do you guys think?

I suppose you could get another hood to allow for clearance?

My cheap @ss, i'd have a body shop cut it and put a scoop on lol...o and before someone notes this, I realize there would be a lot more to this than just what I wrote above. Still sounds like it would be a fun project.

Just curious why you didn't just go with an X? Was it too expensive? Interested to see how this turns out for you.

Just never decided to do the X. Didn't have quite the output as other options and I guess I was just never exactly sold on it.
There is a 112 with 39 lb. injectors and MAF housing for roughly 1000. if it works, that manifold would be 900. Dyno tune would be 300? just a guesstimate. that's 2200. maybe find a remote bypass valve for cheap. body shop to cut the hood and do a scoop 900? that's 3100 and then the cost of new belts and pulley. Plus some more parts I'll probably need. Pretty cheap for a unique setup. Could maybe find supercharger and injectors for cheaper even. I wanna hear some more input!

I am really surprised that they make a adapter for the older mustangs, considering how many s197s out here want F/I
