How to install a fuel pressure gauge?

You were right. Once the sender arrived today I was able to see how everything fits together. I have one problem though. I can't get the nipple off. The part to be removed is just the threads, or does the entire top come off? I tried removing just the threads and then moved to the nut, but I didn't want to apply too much pressure...either way I tried it didn't budge, all that happened was the metal started to flake off.

Ok...do I need to apply heat to get the nipple off? It won't budge. The metal on the rest of the brass piece has flakes off and the nipple doesn't move. I wanted to post up here before I tried apply heat with my mapp torch...

Wow, what did you use... a hammer and a pair of pliers.
Proper tools would have been, a correct size line or box wrench and a soft jaw vice to hold the block.
Good luck on the fuel rail adapter, I purchased 2 and neither fit my ralis.
