Any reputable body shop has the ability to match colors almost perfectly now days. I had the local shop here paint my bumper, and I left my car so they could match it up and it looks factory.

Also keep in mind that it depends on the Material you are painting on... for instance, Metal doesn't absorb the paint like ABS plastic or Fiberglass does, so in certain lights or lighting you will be able to see a slight difference, depending on where you look, but for the most part they will get extremly close if not exact. 99% of the time you won't be able to tell the difference...

Mainly the lighter colors are the troublesum ones... I have a Satin Silver Stang... and depending on where I look on the car and the lighting I am sitting the car in, it looks all perfect, or the bumpers are a shade darker than the Body panels, and its never been "wrecked or repainted"... its just how the material absorbs the paint and reflects the light...

99% of the time, its all Satin Silver and perfect...

I think its that way with every car though, cause I can go to a NEW Mustang and see a shade difference sometimes...

Good Luck! I don't let anyone touch my Stang but my Ford Dealership... I figure, they built the damn thing, they should know how to work on it and fix it if needed.
