Default Burning Smell....

Took a trip to San Diego (About 3 1/2 hours from where I live) when I got to Sea World LOLI noticed a burning smell, I checked the coolant, it was full, just got an oil change like 2 weeks ago so I ruled those out....All I've done recently was lower my car with a Pro-Kit. I'm gonna take another look in the daytime but, in the meantime any ideas on what it could be? I also added some subs and an amp professionally installed but, it was all normal until i took that trip...

Maybe you got a plastic bag or some other road debris under your car during the trip and it landed on part of your exhaust. Happened to me before.

Hmmm I've heard of the plastic bag thing[]I'll investigate that but, it seems to come more from the hood. Its not like a nausiating smell but, its definetly noticeable. The people that installed my subs said there was a "break-in" period for my subs for about 10 days but, I'm cautiaous with them, I dont push them (Even tho I'm SUPER tempted with Korn) I checked the subs and amp after I got home last night and NOPE wasnt them...

What kind of burning smell?

Stale, sweet smell like gym socks = Coolant
Acrid/sour smell that really sticks to you = oil
Stinky egg smell = fuel
Plasticy almost burn your eyes smell - wiring

Gonna need to elaborate.

The closest I could come to those choices would be the Plasticy smell but, its not so bad to the point where my eyes wanna water, not even close. More like empty beer cans that have been out in the sun
