i hear ya man....

look in your owners manual and find where it talks about c&l intakes or any intakes for that matter.... You will however find a section on towing where ford recommends towing 1000 pounds or less...

Im not hating on c&l intake, i have one on my car.... just saying...

I will try to get some vids up of my Flowmaster Dual 40's tommorrow and yea at low RPMs all the way up it does have a different note than a V8 but it can easily be mistakin as one

They have to put that in there so some idoit doesn't hook up a full size trailer and goes back to Ford asking them to fix the car under warranty which won't happen.

Anyways, car looks great man! Just wait for those Stingers to break in and it will sound even better.
