Default Need advice on what my options are!

For starters, I have a 2005 auto V6 vert. I'm no longer satisfied by the power it puts out. I want to weigh my options and figure out what I want to do. The car is fully paid off.

I want to be driving stick, because I have driven a few stick cars and I think it's fun. I want more power, maybe something safer (anything with a roof) or possibly 4wd. Now that I live in Michigan, I'd like something a little better in the snow. Maybe not though.

OPTION 1: Sell my car, get an Evo VIII.

OPTION 2: Sell my car, get a Skyline R32 or R33 (4wd)

OPTION 3: Keep my car, put in a roll bar, super or turbo charge it, do an auto to manual conversion.

OPTION 4: Keep my car, put in a roll bar, get an RB25DET engine for like $2,000.

Please help me sort this all out!

If you sell it, get a GT.

Option 1- not a bad idea
option 2- good luck finding one for a good price/affordable price. you will have a better chance of getting one in canada. trust me i looked for a while.
option 3- not a bad idea, if u do the swap dont use a t-5, they are junk. get a 3650
option 4- that is flat out retarted. and it will cost you more then that to get it to work, cant just drop an RB into it. thats like droping an vg30dett from a 300zx or an f20C from an s2k in there.

Either option 1 or 3, 2 is damn near impossible, and I have no idea about 4.

I'm mainly leaning towards 1 though.

Change cars. The turbocharger/supercharger and manual conversion should cost you $10k or more and if you sold your car you'd probably get $14k-$17k for it and that's what you could get a low mileage evo 8 or even better I'd say get a S197 GT and put a few thousand that you would save over the evo into that.

If your looking for performance, a GT has a good plateau with a big aftermarket. With the extra few thousand dollars you could do full exhaust, cai/tune, good tires, and some suspension stuff which should make you at least a full second faster than an evo and have a much nicer sounding exhaust. And if you get tired of that power, just turbocharge/supercharge it.

And if your worried about the winter, get a cheap beater car or get a set of snow tires for the winter. Although if michigan weather is that bad year round, you may just want the evo. It's up to you, but that's what I'd do in your situation.

if you really want a manual either get a GT or the Evo imo. otherwise just go F/I with your car and leave it auto
