Default Rear Window Louvers - Thoughts/Opinions/FB

hey all.. so i'm getting down to the nitty gritty of my mod list and just a few things left to consider. one mod i'm on the fence about is the rear window louvers. i feel like they work on some mustangs, such as grabber orange, white, or dark blue. my plans in the future include white rally stripes and i feel like they could either compliment each other very nicely or clash horribly. i was planning on getting the lift-up style where you'd be able to clean your windows. as far as my car goes, what do you guys think of the idea? all input is very much appreciated!

I honestly hate the rear window louvers. I think its a bit much and overly dressed. But that is only my opinion.

Stripes should complement the interior when ever possible IMO. You can't beat black on a red car so the decision is easy for me there. Louvers are a personal opinion but the black will tie in w/ the stripes & interior nicely. Visus is the brand MRT & Cervini sell and they are nicely made.

MRT has hood struts for sale that helps w/ cleaning.

I have always loved the rear window louvers if they are done right.

A. Get the aluminum ones, not the plastic (they don't look good) go with MRT
B. They WILL look awesome with your red stang, so go for it! lol

do the MRTs require drilling? i hope not! i'd hate to drill holes in my Stang.. (i am going to need to have my spoiler holes filled tho, i'm going with the CDC ducktail soon)

they dont require you to drill holes, they just attach to the window with 3m tape. Also for your holes on the trunk lid, cdc makes some support braces that fill those holes and they actually look really good. The black ones would look great on your car

IMO I have never been a fan of Window Louvers, and I think with the stripes + the rear louver would def. be overkill.

i've seen the cdc hole fillers and i'm not the biggest fan of them. i'd rather have the holes filled for a cleaner look. and i guess we'll just have to wait and see how well it all goes together!
